Founded in January 1997 by several scientists, experts, PhD holders with background in image compression and digital video broadcast technology, Compunicate has participated in the establishment of digital TV standards and the R&D of corresponding products and systems. We have accumulated a wealth of experience in the field of digital TV.

Compunicate insists on the independent R&D. Our products include head-end infrastructure of hardware, conditional access system and value-added platforms. Compunicate produced the first DVB MPEG-2 encoder in 1998, deployed the first Chinese DVB Simulcrypt Conditional Access system in 2000 and launched the first fully integrated mosaic system in the world in 2004. Since then, the system has been updated to the third generation, and has held the first market share compared with similar products. The products of Compunicate, which has been widely used in more than 50 countries all over the world, obtained certificate of conformity awarded by the EU in 2007 and the certificate awarded by SARFT.
